Winter 2023 Live Zoom Class - Last Seat
The best way to get better at something is to practice. Think about how you learned to ride a bike and drive a car. But how you practice makes a huge difference in becoming a better painter. In this class we will use exercises created on the following principles:
- First, you'll have the most effective learning experience if repetition of the whole process is part of your approach.
- Second, it’s easier to capture the form in space when working from life rather than from photos.
- And finally, it helps in your exercises to paint a stress free subject.
When: Wednesday afternoons: January 4, 11, 18, 25; February 1, 8, and a makeup class, date to be determined.
Time: 12:30-3:30 EST - Be ready to paint. Setup and cleanup times are before and after the class.
Mediums: oil, acrylic, water color, gouache, pastel
Where: Zoom - A computer or tablet and internet connection are required. You will need to be able to show your work and your face to the group.
