Virtual Painting Class
We will use zoom.com to bring us together for this class. You may work on any painting in any medium. If you want to start a new painting and would like inspiration, I'll have photos that you can download. I'll provide guidance by answering questions, looking at your work, doing small demos, giving advice, and anything that you need that can be provided over the wire.
The use of zoom is at no cost to you. You may use it in a web browser (Chrome recommended) or by downloading the zoom app to your phone, tablet, or computer. Whichever device you choose needs to be in the room where you are painting and must have a camera and microphone.
My goal in teaching is one-on-one instruction that you can use on your own when I'm not around. Topics for these sessions will be based on the interests of the students during each session. They can include the basic fundamentals of composition, values, paint handling, and mixing clean color. If you need help with drawing, we can do that too. Beginners and intermediate painters are welcome. Mediums include oil, acrylic, pastel, and water color.
The class runs from 2-4PM on Wednesday afternoons starting April 8. Please be ready to go at 2, and you can clean up after the class is over.
