Plein Air Painting in Old Florida - 1 Day
Discover a love for plein air painting with me in beautiful Old Florida. The plein air tradition, popularized by the impressionists in France, is a wonderful way to embrace nature and enjoy your creative side out of doors. We will review basic fundamentals - value, composition, and color; learn how to paint within Mother Nature's time constraints; and pick up tricks of the trade for painting out of doors. This workshop is ideal for those who have not painted outside previously, and will be held at various locations in the Tarpon Springs and Hudson, FL, area.
My goal in teaching is one-on-one instruction that you can take home and use on your own work. Students will work on their own projects and leave with at least one small finished painting each day. Beginners and intermediate painters are welcome. Mediums include oil, acrylic, water color,and pastel.
This class runs from 9-12 and 1-4 January 14th and 15th, 2020, in various locations near Tarpon Springs and Hudson, FL. One Day students can choose either day, day one is preferred.
