Landscape Painting Topics - Fall 2025
Are you ready to take your landscape painting to the next level? Are there subjects or techniques that stump you? In this class we’ll tackle them head on.
We’ll do that using a step-by-step process, with nothing left out, and all questions answered. The class will choose from a list of subjects/techniques and work from their own photo or a photo supplied by the instructor. Example topics include how to start a painting for success: fog, clouds, other atmospheric conditions, creating distance in the landscape, and returning to a dry painting that needs work. Students will bring additional topics.
When: Wednesday afternoons: Oct. 29, Nov. 5, 12, 19, and Dec. 3 (no class Thanksgiving week)
Time: 1:00-3:00 Eastern Time - Be ready to paint. Setup and cleanup times are before and after the class.
Mediums: This class is designed for oil and acrylic painters. If you’re interested in using another medium, that’s possible too. Contact me so that we can talk about it.
Where: Zoom - A computer or tablet and internet connection are required. You will need to be able to show your work and your face to the group.
